Founder, Chef Wayne McKay has worked as an Executive Chef and Corporate Food & Beverage Cost Controller for Delta Hotels, Halifax World Trade and Convention Centre and Marine Atlantic, before founding Menu Tools as a way to offer his food service management skills to a broader base. Chef McKay’s passion, unlike most Chefs, is the business end of the business. Even with delicious food and many customers, many food service operations cannot make ends meet. Assisting operators and new start-ups with business practices specific to the food service industry, is his forte.
Chef McKay had been successfully operating a food service consulting business in Atlantic Canada since 1997 and partnering with one of his satisfied customers, the Georgoudis Family of VITO’S Restaurants, New Brunswick, has developed the Menu Maestro®.
